Hue Hollins Calls Foul Against Scottie Pippen
On May 18, 1994 a foul came with 2.1 seconds left in game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Knicks and Bulls. Happening 15 years ago the Hue Hollins foul against Scottie Pippen is still debated.
Here is what happened: The Chicago Bulls were up by 1 point with a few seconds left. Hue Hollins, NBA ref, blew the whistle against Scottie Pippen when he brushed against Hubert Davis after the shot. Of course, Davis made the free throws, won the game, and went on the win the series.
Hue Hollins now continues to make bad calls and makes more and more headlines for these calls. It may be time for Hue Hollins to be dropped as a ref because he seems to have an attitude problem against some players.
Is this the worst foul call in history? You be the judge!
