Simplicity crib recall 2009

If anyone is using the Simplicity drop side crib, you should quit using it right now! There has been a recall on 1 million Simiplicity and Graco cribs.

These cribs have killed three children from suffocation because the plastic hardware on the crib can easily deform or break. If this happens, the drop side can detach creating a small space which a child could roll into. This could lead to suffocation.

The cribs which are being recalled are the newer style of Simplicity which can be identified by a flexible plastic tab at the top of the lower tracks.

• Aspen 3 in 1
• Aspen 4 in 1
• Nursery-in-a-Box
• Crib N Changer Combo
• Chelsea
• Pooh 4 in 1

Here is a list of the recalled Graco crib models:
• Ultra 3 in 1
• Ultra 4 in 1
• Ultra 5 in 1
• Whitney
• Trio
